Last of our Colour Days!

We started the week off with Orange Shirt Day!
Orange Shirt Day is celebrated every Sept 30th.
It is an event that started in 2013. It was designed to educate people and promote awareness about the Indian residential schools system and the impact this system had on Indigenous communities for more than a century in Canada, and still does today.

EVERY CHILD MATTERS!

I tried to get everyone in the selfie...

We had the chance to paint pumpkins with a carrot... not your standard paint brush!

We are working really hard at staying in a line when we walk in the hallways!

This is pretty straight!

Rainbow Day!

Here is our story for rainbow day, if you want to watch it again with your child!
Little White Arch was a great hit.

Cosmic Kids Yoga

After lunch we practice mindfulness and do some stretching.
Here is a link that we use for Yoga in the classroom.
